hiii i currently have an offer for 2021, and how did u find the catering?? i want to go into catered accommodations but I want to do sport there, and I'm afraid I'll miss the set eating times, or if they'll clash or something also, since u don't get lunch, do you make your own food or just eat out?

I quite enjoyed the catering, it made things easier. It can be quite repetitive though and COVID made it different than what it apparently usually is. The set times were quite large windows but you might miss dinner if you do sports with travel time. I made my own lunch usually to save money but you're welcome to go out :)

There are not many housing options that include an ensuite, however I was randomly located this particular room. There should be an option to select ensuite when on the website.

Hi Rhiannon. I am moving to UoE in this September so I wanted to ask a few questions if you wouldn't mind. Do you get to know about what accomodation you have been offered after going there? Also, was there a prevalent mouse problem in the dorms? And where did you put your groceries for cooking?

You should find out what accommodation you are going to be in before you go. Personally, I didn't have mice in mine but I was also higher up and in a newer building. I was in a catered accommodation so I didn't need to buy many groceries, but there was a communal pantry space

Hi! This is a university accommodation. The accommodations at Edinburgh are not located on campus, they are spread throughout the city. Every first-year student is guaranteed a place in one of the accommodations.
