I will be going to utsa as a freshman this year! What dorm is this? I love it! I'm kinda confused when I go on the website to look at dorms
@MirandaMandy5 жыл бұрын
i found it really hard to find info when i was looking too! that’s why i made the video to help, however i’ve had some serious issues with my dorm (i’ll be making a video but it’s about maintenance and bugs/unclean environment) that would unfortunately make me want to not recommend it to anyone ever. :/ it is the cheapest dorm though and before this incident i would have recommended it totally!
@melinoe87515 жыл бұрын
Do you recommend living in a dorm as a freshman? Because I live about 30-40 minutes away and knowing I’m going to UTSA I’m trying to make a decision about it!
@MirandaMandy5 жыл бұрын
my dorm specifically i wouldn’t recommend because chisholm is truly an awful place to live lol i had the worst experience here. BUT a lot of my sorority sisters lived at chaparral and it was a pretty average experience. i would say it’s convenient for how close you are to campus and events and stuff so it’s easy to get connected and make friends. but it is a financial commitment so i would say it’s totally up to you and the experience you want! i don’t think it made my experience as a freshman any better than someone else’s

@@MirandaMandy I’m thinking about moving into this dorm. Why was your experience so negative?

What floor would you recommend living in?
@MirandaMandy5 жыл бұрын
Esperanza Orozco tbh they’re all the same, first floor has the community kitchen so sometimes it smells weird but that’s it

What size is the bed ?

Thank you for the video. I was reading google reviews and several state internet is so slow, the dorms smell like mildew. How is the internet and does it really smell?
@MirandaMandy6 жыл бұрын
Patricia Gonzalez i don’t know who said they smell😂 they don’t lol but the internet does suck but from what i hear, the other dorms aren’t that much faster anyways :/
@PatriciaGonzalez-vu7gv6 жыл бұрын
@@MirandaMandy thank you for the immediate response. Truly appreciated. I called the hall to get additional information and Maria stated that I should do a Google search for photos since there was none of their website. I was surprised to read some of the reviews - fire alarm going off all hours of the day, the internet going in and out of service, the smell, n loud neighbors.
@MirandaMandy6 жыл бұрын
Patricia Gonzalez i tried to do that before i moved in and there’s really not a lot to be found, if it helps every room looks exactly like mine unless it’s a single, which is just one big bed in the same room
@MirandaMandy6 жыл бұрын
Patricia Gonzalez loud neighbors are gonna be anywhere cause it’s college lol and the fire alarm is actual alarms due to students smoking or burning things in the microwave so it’s not just drills. so it is annoying but at least it’s legit

Where would you recommend to live there at utsa? #futureroadrunner
@MirandaMandy5 жыл бұрын
Mercedes Saldana you actually don’t have to live on campus your first year so i would recommend elsewhere because it’s cheaper! if not then chisholm is the cheapest but has some issues i’ll be making a video about soon lol. other than that a lot of my friends live at chap and like it there :)
