Simple fix - it really helps that your sink bowl is a basic white color, so it's an easy fix ! Just get an Exacto knife (any craft section) to cut out contact paper precisely, have fun getting rid of that counter! :) * I would love to see your end results! I also, would love to see your college makeup collection :)
