I still have a lot of issues with the character designs but I get the remaster team probably didn’t want to change them too much. They seriously improved on the existing ones and now they actually look like they’re intended to be messes and not just botched modeling jobs, and the new ones look really cool (I especially like Havoc Bonnie). The story changes are also a huge plus, like holy shit it makes a huge difference. Garvey was changed from a poor man’s Joker to someone who seems genuinely psychotic. You actually see his slow descent into madness. No stupid purple skin (at least, from what I can tell), no maniacal laughter, no “I took her to my purple car” (fuck everything to do with that). He’s very clearly disturbed but he isn’t some wannabe supervillain. He has an actual motivation other than “I felt like it” (it’s obviously a horrible thing to do, but it’s a motivation). He sounds like an actual fucking psychopath. His last tape is a genuine plea for help because he knows he’s gone too far, it doesn’t justify or redeem him but it shows that throughout all of it, he was still himself, which is arguably worse.

@@pucebiscuit7616 yeah, like i said they seriously improved on what was already. Golden Call, Garvey, Chica and Soulcage especially look way better. Dawnbreaker and Springlich are also remarkable improvements from the original concept designs. The game overall has had a glow-up, just compare the rough-looking gallery in the original to the nice one here. The only one I really have issues with now is Foxy. Idk what it is but his head just looks… off compared to the original. Maybe it’s that less of him is sticking out now that he’s properly animated which makes his head look too big? Idk.

I actually really like the remaster, I still have a few gripes with this but I do see the love and care made to try and make it better. Some gripes I have is that B.O.A remains unchanged, it's ok but it functions to similarly to chica to feel like a unique threat. On a similar note golden call is now just a puppet copy and I don't like that, he has so much mechanical potential but instead just has a unique sound cue. Foxy is ok but is now one of the many door characters, kinda unique but feels kinda meh. Though I will admit the problems they fix are greater than the problems they cause so good on them. After that most changes are good, the extra characters allow for more variety through the 10 nights which is nice. Dawn breacker is a nice anxiety check though is fairly easy and just removes an extra hour of your night (wich is nice actually). BB and JJ actually give a really unique take on the door being two characters and all, it's a nice long skill check, that isn't too hard. Bonnie falls in a similar vain but feels mostly like a basic introduction. The improved graphics, though mostly just a touch up on the basic models is a stark improvement in creepy factor, and some improved animations turned the goofy walk of B.O.A and soulcage into a genuinely creepy sight. Also Blackout is canceled. S tier.

Soulcage used to look like a bunch of colored watermelons. It looked so, so bad. It was very clearly just a bunch of existing FNAF 3 model heads given teeth and generic claw legs. I know it’s intended to reference those props, but it still could’ve looked more unique. It also just stood out as not being nearly as messed up as everyone else. It really is amazing what withering, melting, and a texture overall can do to a design. Now it looks really good, and it doesn’t just look like a bunch of FNAF 3 props stuck together. The melting is also quite a nice detail since, again, these are the 3 props, and that building burned down.

Tbh, I did not like what Golden Call originally used to do, and that mechanic was given to Springlitch anyway Foxy was left unchanged for the most part, he now can just appear on either side instead of just one.

La inclusión de personajes que no salieron en el original están bien, la remasterización de los modelos también, pero algunos quedaron raro, como Golden Call, y los jumpscares igual, están bien, pero no terminan de convencer, el teatro de cartón pudieron dejar el original y no habría problema. Los reajustes a la historia, pues... sigue siendo una cosa ficticia, siento innecesarios los cambios. Y bueno, el nuevo actor de voz de Garvey suena solamente apagado. El original sonaba como alguien que si podría estar demente, hace bien su papel, pero debieron hacer al personaje más activo, entiendo como lo quisieron hacer, pero, comparándolos, el actual sale perdiendo... Desde luego por eso es un Remastered, pero se ha cambiado tanto que parece Remake...
