Honestly, the exploration coupled with the character collection is what sells it for me. Like a lot of other whales do the main story, but dont bother with most of the rest of the quests due to the time it takes to do them. Honestly impressive.

Same! Sumeru's desert was the first region I did complete 100%, on the other hand, Liyue still unfinished exploring haha but if you use the interactive map you see there's a lot of things to get even if it shows 100%. It takes time, but I'm trying to check every single chest/puzzles of the map

I found it funny to think anyone would struggle to 100% the desert since I did it so quickly, but truth is I found myself mostly in the desert at the time because I found it very relaxing. I live in a desert so I found the environment comforting lol.

not to be that guy, but IMO there is a sort of "hierarchy" for budget in gaming. in-game content is typically at the bottom, while hardware such as your GPU, or smartphone is at the top, and your spending on 1 type of thing should stay in it's respective area or atleast be distributed accordingly to the hierarchy. what this means is you shouldn't spend 1.2k on genshin primos if you're still using an Iphone 11 that can't handle more than low-medium settings or you should upgrade that old 7700k CPU that gets 12fps before buying 800 worth of primos, and it's completely dumb to spend 5k, let alone 50k on genshin if you don't even have moderatly good hardware

it's nice to see other completionist accounts but the desert was not the hardest to complete in my opinion (any part of it). Enkanomiya took that because it's a decent size, varying heights, and lots of open space (which freaks me out). glad to be done with it lol. also it's very possible to 100% clear in a few days even with touching grass. most of us have to leave the house for the job that allows us to whale lol. i do need those artifacts though...

You don't even have to collect and do everything - after 100%, there are still missed chests, seelies and challenges.

Well done on the account , outside of the money spent, the OCD completionist in me loves to see this. My account is similar, 800+ achievements, 100% all areas, 5 BP purchases, 2 Welkins, is the extent of my whaling, though. 100%'d Sumeru in a week, as I hadn't kept up on story since 3.2, just events, and even suffered a heart attack in February, with 4 months recovery time, lol. By no means the best, but I have a dang good time in Genshin, should someone hopefully see this.

I feel strongly that your missing the hidden chest in Mondstat city. The half ring wall surrounding the archon statue, On the NE start of the wall is a hidden but easy challenge for a fat chest. After that likely the campfire that needs to be lit on the cliffs. Look up "Chests you may have missed Starfell Valley" on youtube for quick vids of all hidden chests the compass cant find.

I'll probably never have as archon-tier of an account as this obviously with the c6 r5 everything - I make pennies.. But I at least want completionist for as much as possible by way of owning at least 1 of each thing. I already have 100% exploration/chests/puzzles, almost 100% achievements with 874 right now, and of course I'm trying to get every character I can with my limited spending. Also still working on the Archive little by little as a small fish, it's at 1864. And, working on getting all the Invokation cards but while I like collecting things, I suck at strategy to win games for them ^^; so that is hard for me. I also have already collected and built 1 of every furniture item, along with getting the extra primos for all characters that I have via the gift sets. And working on raising all friendship levels up to 10 for all namecards I possibly can get. I've been playing since 1/31/21, so I missed the start of the game by about 4 months and I did have to take a hiatus for burnout for a bit (which still eats me up to this day because I missed free weapons and characters - I'll never have Aloy unless they do another event for her - I wish they would. At least once per major patch to let others get her and get cons /r).... Anyhoo! I want to complete the game as much as possible, I just enjoy the collecting experience so much. I just with I wasn't broke af :D

The similarities of my account and his account is areas being 100%. And that's it. My area that i don't like is chasm (it makes me nauseous). Note: if ever you've done a 100% of the areas there are changes in design sometimes they add chests too in mondstadt and liyue. I didn't see any new chest in inazuma yet

Some areas at 100% are faaaaaaaaaar from being done, I've 100% on all the areas as well and yet I know I'm missing a lot of stuff in sumeru and found like 6 chests on Liyue this part month while waiting for the RNG comissions :S

I started playing around patch 1.3 and I spent a little bit on Welkins and BP. I have 938 achievements, 100% exploration (all treasure chests/sigils/rock piles found, not just the number on screen), all TCG cards (only left a few to get the proficiency rewards. Some decently built characters, allowing me to clear even the current 3.7 abyss with 36 stars (though it took me many tries with different teams). I now open the game every morning and spend 5min on daily commissions (the RNG for commissions is just plain stupid) and condense resin, then another 5 to use the condensed resin. Then I stare at the screen and have absolutely nothing to do, so I go out and touch grass. yay

Actually i loved to explore sumeru desert and drogonspine Drogonspine was my first 100% explore area i don't know why everyone don't like those places but it's fine everyone has different choices 😊
