My aunt was a beautician for years she taught me 57 years ago to never use a brush at all in your hair use a wide toothed comb. Also get the tangles out with your fingers not a brush or comb before you wash and when hair is dry

I think you are one of the only KZbinrs I’ve seen to recommend only taking biotin if you’ve been tested and shown to be deficient. Thank you! The mg of some of these biotin supplements are very high (e.g., the pill is 8,333% daily intake). I’ve read those overly high levels can be detrimental to your health.

I loved this video! I have been growing my hair out for several years. And I have finally dialed in how to keep my length and add to it. Hair oil has been the last key ingredient to the formula. While I agree that applying it to your roots and scalp can be bad. I have experienced proof that it is necessary to apply it to your tips only. The hair at your tips (also referred to as ends) is the driest part of your hair. So, adding that extra intense moisture keeps the ends from breaking off or splitting. Thus keeping your length.

I just discovered your content and my hair is brown, thick, wavy, and gets knotted VERY easily, there are so many things I do that now I realise I shouldn’t. Two examples are the conditioner shouldn’t go on your scalp. Like I didn’t know that! And that’s why my hair looks more greasy. Another one is the brush one. I had no idea that I should wash it because of all that. Now I will start doing that all the time. I am going to follow you and hopefully I will see some changes. Even if it’s a small change I’ll be happy! Tysm for these tips! I will edit this in a few months if I can and report back!

The best solution for the steam problem is taking cold shower or not above 25°C (or 77°F) , it's better for your skin in general + it's more cost efficient as there no to little need to warm the water. You get used to it faster than you think, it's just a matter of will

I remove the hair and I literally spray them with oven cleaner, then after 10 15 min rinse and then scrub them squeaky clean with bathroom cleaner with a brush. Removes all oils, products , staines from hair dye. Turns out like new.

Could someone help me out?? So I believe I have low porosity, thick/medium, wavy-ish hair. Im trying to wash my hair at least 2 times a week. After I wash my hair I use 2-drops of avocado oil on my ends, leave in conditioner(function of beauty) , and hydrating hair serum (coco&eve) . So on days I don’t wash my hair, do I have to reapply these products on my dry hair every day until I wash it again? My ends get dry :/ but they make my hair feel a little heavy…

@@imnoemit well the only thing that was making my hair frizzy was because the heat of the water was damaging my hair. now i use this soft head towel whenever i take a shower! during hair-washes i use less shampoo and more conditioner. for the shampoo i try to keep it around the scalp area and not the rest of my hair! after washing my hair i dry it with the hair towel i was taking about earlier, and apply a LITTLE bit of oil of your choice and it lasts like that for 3 weeks! even if you don’t add a bit of oil ur fine it’s up to you :) btw the oil doesn’t make your hair look oily or heavy. i also recommend anti frizz serums but those don’t last as long.. also the way you sleep with your hair impacts it a lot too. now i sleep with a braid which prevents my hair from getting tangled in the mornings.

I find that my hair is usually dry and hard to brush unless I use oil. I use hair oil almost daily, such as coconut or shine oil. Is there a way I can moisturize my hair and make it easier to brush without putting oil in it? I always thought it was healthy to oil your hair every day but that, and the fact that I take hot showers may be why my hair is always frizzy, even if I oil it directly after a shower.

Shaking your hair dry causes you breakage??? That's wicked weird. Also, I love wearing my hair loose in hot and humid environments...it makes my hair look amazing every time!!!

If I don't condition my roots they tangle up and make awful knots so close to the root, even gentle combing pulls some out. When I condition the roots, the knots are only at the bottom of my hair. I can't stopppppp 😭

I mean, I play soccer competitively, and scrunches don’t hold my hair during games. I resort to hair ties to keep my hair in place, which isn’t the best option. Do you have any tips? Is there another alternative?
