In this video I am walking at the Christmas market in Dortmund, Germany, which features one of the largest Christmas trees in the world. It stands at about 46m or 150 feet tall, making it colossal. The Christmas tree includes more than 1,700 spruce trees and features over 45,000 lights. It is the centrepiece of Dortmund's Christmas market, drawing thousands of visitors and explaining why the German city invests in a 40-tonne Christmas tree yearly. Dortmund boasts one of Germany's biggest and most beautiful Christmas markets - the Weihnachtsstadt, which is in my opinion the best one this year. With over 300 pretty wooden stalls, this enchanting winter village covers the entire city centre and has something to offer every member of the family, including the youngest and oldest. The wooden stalls are stylishly adorned and showcase a plethora of Christmas market treasures, from handcrafted decorations to original gifts and local delicacies. There's also lots of warm Glühwein (mulled wine) available everywhere.
Dortmund is a big German city well-known for its soccer team, which is often ranked among the nation's top teams. It's located in the Ruhr area of North Rhine-Westphalia, close to other cities such as Düsseldorf, Essen and Cologne (Köln).
The video was fully recorded in 4K HDR 60fps with binaural audio, and I hope you enjoy it! It was shot in December 2023, and the temperature was about 1 degrees Celsius.

You’re getting very nice video results from your consistent effort!! And your written description is also interesting and useful for sure. I expect that you’ll be able to further maximize the viewing pleasure and tighten down the timeframe with a little strategic editing to ‘leap past’ a few of the low-light commercial areas (fast-food chains, etc.) that are unrelated to the main attraction. We really appreciate the efforts of videographers like you who are presenting these beautiful cultural traditions!
