Hello xyii7321, thanks for your query. It is as per USP. In first chance means for 10 units it would be 2.4 and in next chance for additional 20 units ( total 30 units i.e. initial 10+ later on 20 units) it would be 2.0.

Hi Ajay, min. & max. range is calculated by using L2 value i. e. 25 in formula, only for 30 dosage units. Keep in mind that in both cases either 10 units (case 1)or 30 units ( case 2), L1 is used as limit for acceptance value.

Hi Praful, thanks for your query. This is official formula based on USP R&D . Here we can say if we are taking 10 units , then in formula, 2.4 will give worst case result in comparison to 2.0. That is why for 10 units constant value is taken 2.4.

Hi Jitendra, Thanks for your query. L2 is no any condition. As per USP, L2 VALUE is kept 25 in the formula to know the minimum and maximum range of individual value among whether in 10 tablets ( first stage) analysis or 30 (10+20) tablets ( second stage) analysis. You are advised to see and listen the video once again to get full clarity.
