Ishani I want to tell you something, THANK YOU for swatching almost every shade a line offers. It's super hard sometimes to understand how exactly a shade will turn out on a particular skintone. Like most people commented here, I too wait for/consult your videos to decide on what colors to buy. I live in India and some of the brands I want to buy are not available at stores here. Know that your subscribers are very grateful for all the efforts you put in your videos and there are very few youtubers doing what you are doing for woc in terms of swatching and reviewing products so honesty and thoroughly. Your dedication is truly appreciated.

Thank you for making this video! It helped me a lot since we have a similar skin tone. I was thinking about ordering them but it's so hard to look up for the swatches online and surprisingly, there isn't many videos on youtube dedicated to DOC lip swatches only and if there is, they don't really help me because most of those lip swatchers are fair. Plus your reviews are always on point!

I love makeup and especially lipsticks too! But I don't see the point to buy every single shade in a brand when I'm pretty sure with all the makeup you own, you don't use up and just end up throwing it out... you purchase all of these just to review? I'm not hating here btw just curious! :P

I totally understand your concern, but don't fret, I DO get paid by KZbin, and I reinvest all of that money back into my channel (including purchasing collections that I think would be useful for my viewers to see). I do purchase most of the makeup I show on my channel myself, so there's really no "win" for my situation. Either I don't purchase collections, meaning I wouldn't be able to make this video at all, or I have companies send me collections, which can create some doubt within the viewer about the honesty of the reviews. Don't get me wrong, whenever I do talk about products that were sent to me, I do so completely honestly, but I never want my viewers to even have a smidgen of doubt in me. I hope that makes sense to you! Please know that I'm completely devoted to my channel, and I try to make the best decisions possible to keep it thriving :) Have a great day! xoxo

thanks for the review! how similar is truffle to celebrity skin? do i need both? :)

I have both and they are both very different. Celebrity skin is more cool toned and has a slight greyish beige tint where as truffle is more warm and slight peach tones to it. I guess it also depends on lip and skin colour too as it appears different on everyone. I'm an nc37 for reference

+Evangeline I L I usually use a lipliner for Truffle of I go around the edges with a darker liquid lipstick for example Kat von D Lolita. I really like both. Atm I slightly prefer Truffle just because it's more warm toned x

I don't understand how people say these don't transfer. I have merlot and while it doesn't transfer in an atrocious way it definitely transfers for me. Never passes the kiss test. In fact, I feel that this transferred as much as the Ofra though I prefer the DOC to the Ofra any day.
