idk about sants but some of the really powerful meditators and yogis or enlightened being still lives alone near some small villages in himalayas, since ive met few (one of them dreadlocked my hairs for free), i can tell they are not "normal" yogis, so yeah there are still few yogis who lives in forest alone all by themselves
