I've been with you since you first started your tutorials Lydia, and I just love them. I wondered why we hadn't seen you very much and my sympathies go out to you and your family. I know exactly how you feel. My only child , Jennifer, passed away ten years ago and it still feels like yesterday. I know grief can do a number on you. It just takes time. Painting does help though! I'm so sorry to hear about your brother. I lost my dad in 2016 and my husband lost his brother in 2017. It's very hard losing a loved one. We both find it kind of therapeutic to talk about stories about them to people.

If you have time would you be willing to list the colors and tool numbers? I've tried writing them down but some are difficult to see because they're so light. I tried slowing down the video but that didn't help and it sounds like you are drunk, lol. I can follow what you're doing but just want to match the color and tool changes appropriately. I can totally relate to being lost in your grief and not being able to function. I bet iv painted maybe 6 hours total since. I recently lost my sister unexpectedly will never know if it was Voul player or not it’s a pretty hard blow to swallow… I feel your pain she also is two years younger than me… Me being the oldest… No one should have to go through and feel feelings and the thoughts and the pure just misery that I have felt since June 18, 2021 and then my world fell apart August 11, 2021 when we found her body… It’s hard to get up and going it’s hard to do things that you did it’s hard to even care about any of it… So I have five you ma’am… And big hugs to you❤️

I'm SO glad you are back. You have been missed! You needed to time to grieve, no apologies needed. Don't be hard on yourself. Losing a loved one is never easy. I lost my dad in 2015, my mom 2019 and my husband is is kidney failure right now, so I don't know how long I will have him. Grieving is a process and it's different for all us. I'm so sorry for your loss. You are the reason I got into dot art and you inspire me.

Oh Lydia, I feel your in your loss! I was such a young girl when I suffered the loss of my first family member, then a week later my father! I'm now 64 and all are gone! I miss them all so very much! I always tell my friends that still have their family members alive to cherish them and the time they can have with them as it is not fun to be with out them and forgotten by all! 😁 Now your colorful works are something to brighten up anyone's moments ❣️ I haven't gotten into it yet but it is something that would work right in to my type of artistry! Wow, the new slanted tools. Those really look better to use. The loss will ease up with time but you will find times even years later you may a moment or tough day but it will pass. He will aways be in your Heart. ❤️. Sorry fo the long drawn out book!

I have a white, unglazed, cat figurine that I want to dot paint. It is about 10 inches high and is sitting. Is it possable to do dot art on a figurine? Don't worry. I don't have the paints, tools or anything to get started. We are in an ice storm right now. I may not be able to get out of this house for three days or more. So I painted two coats on the album and it left streaks and some pretty thick ones. Not very pretty. Should I use extra fine sand paper to even it out? I even put the Matt finisher on it. Guess I didn’t do a good job. Ugg
