I think the idea is not for the boss to push, but to be pushed on. Eventually the only way for them to win is to kill you or your ancient- but if you're always under tower or near fountain yourself that's a tough sell. They can't rat you if the only towers left are the two in front of the ancient and you yourself are able to passively clear waves off blademail and some aoe skill alone. Thus they eventually have no choice but to fight you directly. To further cement this as the boss' win strat, dev could implement a timer that auto-ends the game in the boss' favor at some point; thus putting the 12 on the offensive (as they should be, since their number's advantage means they could have one guy sitting in fountain and guarantee the game never ends otherwise)

or just make it so there is a kill limit (aka boss wins after x kills, optional) and/or disable (or significantly lengthen) hero respawning and force them to need to revive eachother. That will force them to a point like you said where they are forced to fight in boss base and gl reviving in that situation. (significantly lengthening their respawn is prob better since it prevents the boss from just getting lucky one time and killing most of them then just camping their corpses but thats just a matter of feel cuz i dont think thatd be worth it anyway)

If you were there and played the game yourself you would understand. Towers give an instant level up and 3-4k gold to every single hero on my team. It's the best way to farm. I wasn't going to end, wouldn't have been able to anyway. Took me more than 5 minutes to kill a single tower, with each building killed the remaining ones get buffed and there are 2 at once in front of the ancient

these raid boss roshan mods dont really work imo. Instead of trying to maintain Roshan's ability to grow stronger and balance it out by making him weaker at the beginning, they should do the opposite and make him overwhelmingly strong at the start but fall off later. That way it becomes a proper hunt where Roshan has to suppress all heroes before they get too strong and he has more agency throughout the game, as he can force out the other team by pushing or he can invade their jungle to try to prevent their farming. The other team can still find a window to turn the game around as they are 12 people, and similar to regular dota they can designate roles where some farm, some stall Roshan, etc. tl;dr roshan mods should follow trolls vs elves design.

i like this idea to be honest but the objective still need to be change if rosh too strong from the start he gonna just kill ancient instead killing other 12 player. change it as either it imposible for rs killing the third tower (the one proctecting baracks) until 10 minute or 15 minute or making rs deal reduce damage to tower so even though he can push early but that gonna take long enough so player can gather some item. also player cant kill ancient until rosh get killed while still having aegis. so player can choose after killing rosh are they going for ancient or kill the rs again
