Came here specifically to mention jungle nature's prophet, who would sit on a ward spot and hit ancients for 15 minutes to turbo out midas and aghs, then proceed to leech the entire maps gold and die to the enemy team as they tried to rat. 2016 was when I think it was a thing? Cannot for the life of me remember who did the video though. Saw it a ton in pubs at the time

To Baumi. I remember leshrac going in trees behind enemy T1, and using W from minute 0. He would kill tower in 3 mins. I still do that sometimes as fun to bot T1 radiant when I'm playing from dire side. Just need a quelling blade to cut a few trees to get in position.

I do this all the time with Drow and Morphling back then... It works back then. 4 Wraith Bands into Treads and a magic wand then replace 1 wraith band if I build good items I don't know if its still viable today, haven't played in more than 2 years

There was a combo where you could stack neutrals on cliffs with dark seer vacuum and use either ET spirit for insane damage (to one shot enemies) or axe q for insane movement speed. The ET one was relevant for a little while in pubs, especially with the level 20 cleave talent allowing ET to hit in an aoe for 1k+ per attack. The build I think was phase boots into echo into aghs then just crits/deso/mkb depending what was better for the game.

This is similar to the Necro jungle thing, and I commented about this on a different video of someone else's, but I remember back in the old days when there was an ancient camp right next to a large camp and between them was a ward cliff. Back then, nature's prophet would literally just tp to that cliff and just sit there infinitely farming for 20 minutes indefinitely increasing his net worth. And because of the way stacking worked for some reason the camps still sometimes stacked which meant more money. And after 20 minutes he'd have a mjollnir, a Daedalus, a deso, and just 1 v 5 and end the game. I remember this used to absolutely terrorize people in pubs. I would run it and by the time enemies figured out what was going on I already had enough items that I could just jungle normally or just start running down lanes. The only way to beat it was with a displacing ability and even then there were other cliffs he could sit in so you just could not shut it down. i'm only at minute 4, but i would think necrophos is gonna be OP in this mod, cuz all his temporary heartstopper-regen-buffs are gonna be permanent. Also OD will permanently steal mana, Underlord will have permanent bonus dmg, and slark/silencer (and obviously undying) will have permanent stat-steal.... or what about a gyro/clockwerk with permanent rocket barrage/battery assault? This mode sounds really fun ^^ EDIT: What about razor's dmg-steal???? Do enemies lose their dmg until they die??

idk what patch it was but there was a time when magnus cleave became an aeo buff and affected drow so drow would be shooting 3 arrows with aghs that all had cleave and could one shot a team

I think it counts, remember the old sniper aghs? that made his ult and AoE that did a crit? prople would get aghs and rapiers but I don't remember seeing a yt video showcasing it. Also, there is currently a magic control sniper build, Wagamama used to play it, aghs, gleipnir, shard and all the shrapnell talents. And I don't know if it counts, but all the lvl 1 roshan strats, Mostly the ursa+ io had a decent impact. ALso, I remember Waga also played a medusa with the new bloodstone using radiance + mjollnir to get mana and tank up

My goto weird build is dagon weaver. I just rush dagon and use the shukuchi>germinate attack>swarm>shukuchi>dagon to burst down squishy carries/supports at level 6.

I know I am late but maybe these didn't pop up: The strat of hooking the ranged creep at the beginning of the match with pudge and blocking it in the trees of your own base, basically denying the ranged creep altogether. Also there was a strat of throwing a creep into the trees with tiny near the enemy base to disable backdoor protection permanently. I think those two started with Arkosh and Dotown, but it's possible that they just copied the strategies from a previous video

I know it's non-verifiable but I want to say I popularized a few meme builds in pub dota in sea, to name a few Mid lion rushing aghs (most played, over 600 games playing lion mid, back when it was still +50 damage no talents) Pa 5 battlefury dagger one shot (did this way before talents existed) Punching titan (turning elder titan into a carry stomping games because astral and 3rd were underrated AGI melters, never saw a single titan in over hundreds of games until I did this regularly) Mk one shots you in the trees (3rd item divine, after blink) Not mine but my brother popularized heart on death prophet back in dota 1 that was still popular in the early days of dota, at least in sea And that's about it, I'll put my acc profile later when I get home as proof
