I'm currently a league player wanting to switch to dota, and in league any match that's ongoing during the scheduled patch time just instantly breaks and is erased out of existence, and the game is offline for 4 hours after. One more reason to switch to dota on my list i guess ✅

Yeah, the game is enjoyable solo. My friends dislike DotA 2 and play LoL, so I have to play solo 99% of the time and I'm having a lot of fun. On the other hand I never had fun playing LoL unless I was playing with friends.

If anything, Dota 2 cosmetics can be pay to lose because you can locate where certain heroes are because their pets just give them away. Or in the case of the Mirana persona cosmetic, the sacred arrow where it usually is somewhat hard to spot during a fight becomes an ashe ult levels of visibility.

It happened to me, I spent around 6 years away from Dota2, but now I sometimes login and play a couple of turbos with some friends and thats enjoyable, I dont even have a "rank" anymore, I just turbo so I dont lose a lot of time in a game if its a bad matchup

Solo Rank in SEA is Hell. Straight up, while im not the most skilled player, im not the worst (Ancient 4, currently). The best idea is just playing as the Pos 4 and 5 because 1: Either they first pick sniper and go Mid or first pick troll or slark and go carry...

You know i find it hilarious at the reveal that you stopped playing because all footage were from literal centuries ago... Wtf are shrines? The editing is superb. Albeit i have a negative association with undertale 👀 Either way i kinda took a few month hiatus as well. And i find it funny for valve standards that half to a full year for a MAJOR patch to come out is considered "frequent" When other games like genshin for example gets updated every 1 and a half month. 😊

A 50 years old amateur gamer from Indonesia. This game had gradually turned me into toxic person. I used to put all best effort to play 1 vs 9. Then, I eventually realized that other people don't even know what they were doing in the game. In every single match, there be always stupid player or even players who made me lose. 2010 to 2020, my gaming mentality had turned upside down completely. I'm no longer that Generous High Level guy who always respect and talk nicely to low levels in online games. This game had betrayed my positive spirits by giving me imbalanced games which costed me my hard earned MMR. Dota always give me stupid team. Always. This game had been insulting me. And I finally decided to throw the insults back to them. So for these past 4 years it's been my turn to spread my own feces all around SEA Server low bracket games. I'm still here, putting out my best efforts to make my own team lose.. no matter how. Go on, create new account, play on SEA. If you come across an ultra toxic player, then it may be me.

Older i got the less entertaining macro game became appealing to me outside of an old school rts game. Turbo is more appealing because after work i want to sit down and just brawl it out amongst team not manipulate the map to my favor for advantages, camp pulling, freezing, stacking and the other macro play thats common practices ancient and above, it just felt like you arent playing a game anymore. Thats just my opinion though maybe ive been playing for too long dota 1 to today 21 years of dota

if i stress or my brain broken, i always open Dota and play MMR, even i lose or win i just try distracted my mind because my mind all out, thinking about that match not about stress anymore for 1 day i play 2 match, i'm not agry even i lost (before i always play with my friend account and play active and make my own account since 2015 until 2018 but with break, active again everyday play 2020. a lot break play dota cuz i don't have laptop to play, but only 4000 hours Play time )
