yes its a high level play when you steal ultimates against a high skilled players like chuan...its not easy to steal ravage...high skilled tidehunter user will cast anchorsmash right after ravage so you will end up stealing anchorsmash most of the time..but dendi knows the right time when to cast spell steal which makes him a very pro rubick.

Na'Vi's a crowd pleaser. They force clashes and own with amazing teamplay and shocking moves, which is why they're the crowd favorite. All the chinese teams play too safe and tend to drag the game to farming capability (which they specialize in), but since a lot of money is on the line, it's a great idea. iG played excellently, but next year, Na'Vi will still have more people's support. Even here, notice how the overfarmed magina still kept farming even when he could have finished WAAAY earlier.

4 protect 1 play is one of the riskiest plays you can ever get in dota or HoN. Pooling everything into one player and hoping for the best. Once into the late game, 1 team fight can decide everything. In the meantime, all the action was focused on stopping opponent's farm and forcing opponent's carry into fights where they can pick him off or at least, force him back to base and waste 30 seconds of farm time. It's like I said, it's very finely balanced and can be more intense than european games

iG is not the most flexible, they are the most adaptable. they can handle situations better and more clearly thought out than other teams because they have been playing together since the formation of iG.Z with minor roster changes. They know each other well and can work together well. This is the reason why they won the international.

DTS.Chatrix back in 2010 did it. Dendi, Artstyle, NS, Dread and Light of Heaven defeated then Dota gods Ehome in WDC 2010 with Dendi on pudge. After that incident, you can see what most of the teams do against Dendi, ban pudge.

I agree that the strategies of Chinese teams are great, but like in football, the team that attacks more is always appreciated more than the team that play defensively and passively even if they win the game. Frankly saying, if there is a line up with early nukes and pushing tower, it will be a strong counter to the Chinese teams. Except for iG though, iG is the most flexible team in China in my opinion.

It does not have the same intensity as european games. the aggression is less and people find it more boring. i personally find it more intelligent. it's highly dependent on who makes the mistake of going a little too aggressive or slightest miscommunication. it's so finely balanced that it's more intense than european games sometimes.

Sylar is a superstar player, but not a GLOBAL superstar like ZSMJ, YamateH and Burning. ZSMJ's Medusa was the bane of chinese dota teams, his farming ability the bane of the world's greatest teams. YamateH was the original god of SF, before Yaphets took the title in a decisive 1v1. Burning is regconized as the best carry in the world by international league players. I've played with and talked to v1ctory from former dmZ, hexor's clan. he said that Burning is the best carry player in the world.

The argument here is Sylar being the best carry and not about superstar stuff. Your yaphets and yamateh issues are way of topic. Of course every dota fanatic knows how Godly ZSMJ was after doing the 720cs with medusa with 2 divine rapiers in a 60min game but ZSMJ has retired. Burning and Sylar are on par in terms of farming skills perhaps burning way better, but the big difference is "RESULTS" LGD were unbeaten in the 1st and 2nd half of the group stage and SYLAR was consistent in every game.

they do not play lame boring dota. they base it on farm because the european style has one major flaw, an out of control free farming carry. imagine zhou getting free farm the whole game just because his team can go 4v5 and get 3-4 kills per fight. that is what the chinese teams know and want to avoid. they play higher stakes than european teams, an all in game where you either win or lose, nothing in between.
