Offered by Parambikulam Tiger Reserve Eco-tourism, the Elephant Song Trekking Trail spans 6 kilometers, presenting a gentle trekking experience. This expedition begins from Parambikulam information centre at Anappady, winding through the serene Kariyanshola Evergreen Forest.
Accompanied by trained naturalists employed by Parambikulam Tiger Reserve, this trek supports conservation efforts and the betterment of the reserve. Proceeds from the trek are dedicated to remunerating these naturalists and for the enhancement of the reserve itself.
The trekking cost is Rs. 300 per person on weekdays and Rs. 380 per person on weekends. A minimum group of 5 people is required; otherwise, the charge equivalent to 5 persons will apply.
