One of McCartney's weakest combined with a Queen classic, perfection has been achieved. Almost. There's still the backing vocals from Crazy Little Thing. If we remove those the whole thing becomes a lot cleaner.

Hmm one was a pioneer of the very territory Queen followed. The Beatles did everything Queen covered years before, or is hindsight not 20/20? Of coarse you can take 7 years to write bohemian rhapsody. QUEEN, basically listened to the White album. And wrote various version of Sexy Sady, Helter Skelter, which by the way, we all know others used as a starting point to create and later call their own,, ummm Black Sabbath ring a bell. These artist including Queen, would tell you to your face" The Beatles are the Best. The Beatles though not the type of music I grew up with or liked growing up, to this point as I listen to them are hands down the BIGGEST and Best on this planet. Let's add total record sales to this fact and The world wins this debate 1 BILLION TO ABOUT 200 MIL. Dude your opinion of the best doesn't stand. Facts will always kick opinion to the curb.

They certainly took inspiration from them like every other group at the time because the beatles have arguably been the most influential group ever, but so did the beatles with other artists. They imitated others to a certain extent and then added the ''beatles ingredient'' to it making their music something new and extremely successful. But so did queen and many others. And of course they looked up to them and not their contemporaries, but the same goes for today's artists that look up to the beatles as well as to queen and many others. I personally prefer queen because they still sound incredibly fresh today, but it is just a matter of taste and i have a tremendous respect for the beatles. And sales are an indication of popularity+quality (and the beatles were super popular, way more then queen), but it is not the only parameter

@@emili9715 yes that and the fact that every millennial knows who the Beatles are Cant say the same about Queen. There is a reason I had put my Queen records away 78 or 79. There were way more interesting groups coming out. And Queen does sound dated. Have you seen the Reaction videos. Kid are reacting, and in a few you can hear them say this sounds like 70s or 80s. Queen was good. Not great. I have a huge number of songs I can show you that are lyrically ok, or just musically ok, compared to their top sellers. I can go through each album and ditch over 5 to 6 songs at least that are just ok. By the way, listen to Sexy Sadie, or Happoness is a warm Gun. , and tell me that the vocal harmonies and changes in Happines,, arent the targets Queen aspired to play,. I mean come on, vocal harmonies in ROCK music is Beatles.

I love Queen as much as I love the Beatles, but to be fair, Fool on the Hill was like, a deep cut Beatles song while Crazy Little Thing Called Love is one of Queen’s most well known. It’s bound to be a better song, but that doesn’t necessarily mean everything Queen did was better than everything The Beatles did. They both had strengths and weaknesses.

I am just saying that there is no ''best in general'' between the greats according to me, there is just what you prefer. And i have MAXIMUM respect for the beatles and i understand people thinking they are better. I just don't get the ''they are the best in general and if you don't think so you are wrong'' attitude. Just that. P.s. i know every queen song and i know some songs are very '70s and very '80s but some song could have been recorded in an indefinite moment in history and i don't really find the same in the beatles. Sorry about that. And i love the band's dyinamic. And yes, queen have some very weak material and weaker albums, that is undeniable.
