The equation for x2 initially should be [-A i sin(ep*t)] exp(-i Wo*t) , so the real part gives x2 = - A sin(ep*t) sin(Wo*t). However, this was based on ep = (W1 - W2)/2 which is negative. Using ep = (W2 - W1)/2 (as used in the graph), then x2 = A sin(ep*t) sin(Wo*t).
