Ms Dottie was my idol when I was a young girl. Reba and I are the same age. Dottie, Buck and Shirley as The Gospel Echoes used to come to my church in Kingsport, TN. That was the first time I saw her. They continued to visit until the Rambos went professional. I was blessed to see little Dottie the year before her death. She was never anything less than amazing. Love you Dottie, miss you, but I will see you again. Hope my Mansion is near yours.

Dottie addresses how we as Believers have lost the PURPOSE OF THE CHURCH. I honestly think, today’s church has TOO many superstar elevated people proclaiming they are CHRIST-LIKE, but openly proclaim, as if this is a version of righteousness, how they have learned to “take time to talk to their FANS.” No. Not good. What VERSION of Christ did we get that from? Dottie’s suffering is helping me through my suffering, many years after this interview happened.

I’m walking through a perpetual season of trials and in my pain I often cry out, “Lord, are you upset with me? Did I fail you?” This interview is The Lord’s response to my cries. As Believers in our sacrificed Savior, we have GOT to understand EVERY THING this dear lady is saying. I need it. I NEED to reach out to the fentanyl addict under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. I NEED to know how to relate with a person who leveled forms of emotional abuse upon me for years. When emotional honesty becomes “negative” and despised in conversations amongst Christ Bride, we then need a revelation of Christ.

I've been Thier. Maybe not as much pain, As she has to bare. But I started serving the Lord, When i Was about 12. I struggled , Yes. I too sung w A Sister, Of mine, We sung for 8 yrs together, As i grew to 23..Between car Wrecks, As Child I had the death sentence. I didn't know till i got old enough for My Mom And Dad , to Explain. I had Scarletine fever, I beat it because A man My Dad and Mom knew, They were so down, He took me out To an Old Stump, prayed God Spare me, I'm A Miracle.But I t wasn't till After I wrote many songs, Devil He hates that, Annionting. I struggled yrs too W Pain meds , Other Things. In 2014, God Took it all Away. IV User.I'm Free. So yes i do think The more That's given. More is Required, God is a good God! I'm so thankful. I got injured past yr. He tried to take My eyes. , Still struggle, But My God is still Alive. I have seen so many miralces, thru my kids, My Husband, Too. My Fam. Dottie you were truly a living Testimony...Love Love. Much Love!🙏💓📖

Why do people who proclaim Jesus is Lord, declare there IS a HEAVEN after death, who sing and preach messages about eternal life, and “no sting in death,” yet, as Sheila said in this dated interview, “I could not pray that the Lord would call you home, yet.” As a family member seeing the absolute pain your loved one has to endure, ON A DAILY BASIS, I would think the worshiping loving preaching Believers IN the RESURRECTED CHRIST, would say to the Lord, “Please, Father, take my loved one home to release them from such pain and misery.” Yes, I know Sheila said she did not feel released to pray Dottie into heaven. However, I understand Dottie’s family member’s grief, pain, AND prayer for Dottie’s home-going. No euthanasia message here. However, I am DEEPLY bothered and taken aback when people, self-proclaimed Christ-like people, all but CRINGE if a Believer in Christ is about to or are near their eternal home!Gosh, it seems, we have more people like Peter in today’s version of Christianity. Remember when Jesus DECLARED how his time on earth is nearly over and he will return to the Father? What did Peter do? Yup, he REBUKED CHRIST for saying he is about to die. But what was Jesus’s response to Peter (Mark 8:32, according to the very Gospel message, literally, based on Peter’s narration)? “Get behind Me, Satan; for you are not setting your mind on God’s interests, but man’s” (Mark 8:33 NASB 1995). Yup. Jesus SAID THAT. Jesus IS the resurrection. DEATH HAS NO STING!!! Yes, some may live a “long life,” as declared in Proverbs 16:31. But if you recall, how old-or young-was Jesus when he faced death? Was HE out of God’s will??? Might the Lord God Almighty simply use each of us EACH DAY we reside on this side of eternity. If I am not mistaken, death for the Believer in Christ is biblically considered “GAIN” (Philippians 1:21-26). May the Lord sustain us THROUGH the PROMISED “suffering” many Believers in Christ MUST FACE and ENDURE (Ephesians 3) until we are released from this realm, at ANY AGE!!!

Working in healthcare, I see what you’re saying,but it’s just hard for people to say goodbye and let their family members go. As far as chronic pain, no one including family members understand it until they’ve experienced it first hand. I’m like you though. I would much more desire to go be with Him.

@@RC-ou9qg , Thank you for your gracious reply. Honestly, I just re-read my comment and I guess I was agitated that day. My emotions obviously dictated my reactive response. Although my points are valid, I detect something deeper was bothering me. Hence my warmest appreciation for very soothing words. Death is complicated. And years ago, I believe the Lord invited me to view death from his perspective. When doing so, the “sting” seemed and seems to vanish from my previous version of grief experienced after losing a person. However, I have only lost elderly relatives and not any tragic early deaths for family members. When that happens, I believe, only the Lord can provide the necessary comfort and support to carry family members and friends through that shadow of death. Bless you! And I hope you are used mightily in the healthcare industry where the Lord has probably placed you.❤️
