Dottie who was an amazing song writer and singer, was also a inspiration to millions. Even still this number of years later, I find myself seeking out her music. Doesn't Lulu Roman look absolutely wonderful & with an amazing voice of her own, and as many know, Dottie and Lulu were great friends. Dottie, your legendary status still lives on through your music and all those you inspired. Continue to rest in peace sweet lady!

I heard Lulu give her Christian testimony in a Baptist church in Dallas about 1973. She was scheduled to sing with Dottie at a church (I think in Arlington TX) the morning that Dottie died in the bus wreck. Never forget an interview they did with a grief-stricken Lulu shortly after the bus accident. Through tears Lulu said: "There's nobody like Dottie, all that lady ever talked about was the Lord!" What a testimony to leave as a legacy to your family & friends! If only our loved ones could say that about ALL OF US!
