This has probably been one of the most requested guides for me to make on BDO due to the fact that the game throws an absurd amount of items at you really quickly, and it can be challenging to figure out which ones to keep and which ones to get rid of. So, today's guide is going to focus on which items you should keep in Black Desert Online and what they do.

that is what i did. Then, learn about CP and how to invest in storage. do the Magnus questline as soon as you can.

NOTE: that some items have been simplified, especially the 'Black Stone', so be aware there have been changes. Also, some items have been moved to 'Manage Currency' like the Shakatu's seals and [Season] Seal of Journey, so you will not find them in your storage anymore.

i didnt know you could right click a currency and path to NPC. i feel like I avoid right clicking an item unless I know I want to use it. Does the right click only work on currencies?

memory fragments are needed for the guaranteed pen boss gear aka jetinas boss gear. and you need alot of them but you wont be buying gear so you wont want to use that many of them if you go that way. im doing some of jetinas gear and i gotta start being carful with those. i just got my first pen i did a kutum for monster damage. and doing bartalis journal rn.

Wagons are great for storing the myriad of junk that the games throw at you.

Sailboats are also a good place to store inventory. The river ones are the best if you want to sail the ocean you will need those for your Ships.
