Idk about giving him that much passing tbh. I like 6 shooting, 8 dribbling, 11 lower body and 11 dexterity. That way you get 88 stamina, your acceleration is 2 higher than your speed with Alonso and you keep 83 finishing. Skills wise, I've added First-time Shot, OTP, Through Passing and Fighting Spirit. I'll probably go with Acrobatic Finishing last but I was also considering Heel Trick for even better one touch passing. Imo Fighting Spirit is a must, it makes him a lot more resilient to challenges from high physical contact defenders and coupled with his 88 stamina, it keeps him fresh for almost the entire game.

Hey! That's absolutely fine. If you're doing mostly short or simple passes anyway, the difference will be small. The one reason why I'd try slightly higher passing especially with wingers is that they seem to have buffed through balls. I haven't quite figured it out yet because I've only played once so far and have no idea what I'm doing, but in some circumstances, through balls actually get sent into space like they're supposed to be. If this is linked to a higher passing stat, it might be especially worth it. Depends on playstyle though. It's by no means a must, especially in the last version, I'd always hold off on giving points passing too because it just wasn't worth it👍 Is there any evidence about how much exactly fighting spirit does? I'm holding off the last slot for Van Nistelrooy for the very reason you mentioned, I think there actually is a video on physicality and fending off defenders, but it's all in Japanese so I didn't understand much, neither whether fighting spirit is included. My 09 Messi for example has fighting spirit but gets pushed around like a doll, so for players with low physical contact, I didn't get the feeling that it would do much, but perhaps it would have been even worse without😁 But then again one would also not give aerial superiority to a player weak at the relevant stats either. About acrobatic finishing vs. heel trick, I'd go for acrobatic finishing because it's less situational and when it matters, it can make the difference between goal or no goal. In my opinion, every offensive player with good finishing should have it🙏

@@PESPepe I've read a lot of sources online and a lot of people say it makes your player more resilient to tackles. From my experience, my BT Leao who doesn't have Fighting Spirit goes down a lot easier than this new Neymar with Fighting Spirit, even though Leao has 88 physical contact and Neymar only has 55, with the same balance. It seems to increase the probability of jumping over tackles which is the most useful thing in the game and gives a boost to stats in scripted moments, that's always good. For passing I just do one touch passes between my wingers and CF usually, then pass it back to the winger and cut inside with dribbling to finesse shot. My Copa America Messi has the exact same passing stats and skills as Neymar with the build I mentioned and he has good enough passing. I've also been very positively surprised by Van Nistelrooij. Usually I favor Benzema or other DLFs, but Nistelrooij is nowhere near as clunky or slow dribbling as other physical CFs like Haaland or Kane. I've given him 90 physical contact and 90 kicking power too, with 70 balance, so he's decently mobile. I'm still trying to decide who is gonna be my main striker between him, Benzema, BT Leao and Stoichkov.

Now that's interesting. I think the most recent information from the subreddit was that it reduces shooting and passing errors when opposing players are nearby. I'm not sure if the tackle thing was ever confirmed, the description would match it better though. I'm believing it myself as well to be fair, but have no way to confirm it😀 A while ago, I think it was rockchok who once mentioned that some other guy actually played around with this and figured out that higher dribbling stats made the jump over tackles more likely. Not sure if he also tested fighting spirit and whether it made a difference. Would be a very strong ability if it did. If that's the way you play, I'd absolutely go with your build, you're absolutely right about using fewer points in passing. I couldn't agree more! Van Nistelrooy is completely bonkers. Hard to overcome and if you get to shoot from anywhere in an angle that isn't completely off, it's a goal. The newest BT Leao has completely insane stats. From stats only, I'd pick him.

@@PESPepe Nah, it's the older Leao unfortunately. Although he's still really good. The dark short one, not the white shirt one. I used to use him as a winger but I retrained him to give him 88 finishing, 96/98 speed/accel, 88 kicking power, 92 balance and 83 physical contact. He's good but his low tight possession and height kinda holds him back from dribbling the entire team like this new Neymar. Although I haven't used him in the new patch. I've been rocking the new Neymar, Nistelrooij and Copa America Messi trio for the Spanish event.

Yeah it only makes sense to go for it if you really, really want it. I for example did it for Kahn, but it can take a loooong time to get what you want. As far as I know you can only transfer from GK to GK, so even if you get double touch and stuff like that on a keeper, you can't get it back to a player. If it wasn't Kahn and if I wouldn't absolutely love low punt, I wouldn't have attempted it😂 I'm fine, thanks, so many comments today I'm still behind😂 Hope you're fine as well👍

Copa America one is the one that came at the same time as Griezmann with all the new managers, right? If so, I wouldn't spend on the new one because you'd have to put yours away then. If you don't play much with wingers, I don't think you'd need the new Neymar that urgently either. He's good and does some things better than Santos Neymar, but for me, I don't think it's remotely worth a 1800 coin improvement, especially considering Santos Neymar also does some things better than him. In your case, I'd say Santos Neymar is fine, I'm using him too. Just my opinion though👍

As much as this hurts to say, I think he isn't as good as he used to be anymore as well😥It's a petty because he was my favourite card, I've scored like way over 1100 goals in 900 games, he single-handedly won lots of games for me but the new auto shielding mechanic makes many of his tight turns/dribbles impossible, that was one of his biggest strengths. I feel like Van Nistelrooy does a lot more for me. I'll see if I can make him work in another role or if I can adapt my playstyle to have him succeed again, but right now, I can do so much more using Van Nistelrooy as a CF.
