It would be hard to prove. In this case, they didn't have any proof he was the father in the first place until now. But regardless, fathers are entitled to time with their children. All they have to do is make the simple effort to go to court and get partial custody. A lot of dads don't want to actually take care of their child consistently and have it enforced. They want to pop in every now and again when they feel like it and have the mom do all of the hard day to to day work. I'm just saying.

Well, a child born during the marriage is presumed to be of the marriage and comes with child support duty. Women wanted this security, there you go. Also this guy knew she was married and knew this was a possible outcome. He got what he wanted. But suppose he goes to court and does get paternal rights. The guideline is this goes hand in hand with paternal responsibilities. But this is far from a given. The 2 can fall on different shoulders. If a court already has a husband on the hook they will be lax to go after someone else and do all that effort and give that court time and do all the paperwork and spend all that money. Easier to give only paternal rights to the other man. Even if he gets both in court, as soon as he is disabled/dies whatever, who will they demand pays up? Yes indeed. So what you are then asking for is for her husband to just work hard, pay up and never complain in exchange for 0 rights. And you heard the sidepiece, he wants to visit (get into the home of the married girlfriend for the kid and very highly likely some action). And then means he gets to an extent dictate what goes on in that household. I would never put up with any of that. Would you?
