Double footrope knot

In this video I demonstrate the double footrope knot. It is basically a 2 pass version of the footrope knot.

Have you ever tried tying this with those tiny, flat, strips of pleather-type stuff from the $1 Store? Well, with your fabulous teaching here, I was just able to do this beautiful double footrope knot to top off a box knot cross, made out of that crappy stuff! And you know, it actually looks really good! Thanks very much!

"First your crown and then you wall, tuck them up and that is all." The Footrope (and Manrope too for that matter) Knot is easily extended by doing an additional "over 1 under 1" after the Wall knot.

your instruction is very helpful but can you stop rotating the cord? it is very difficult to follow. even worse is you explaining useless thing like "I like to keep..."
