Oh my goodness. This looks so much more stable than twining and much easier than a hem stitch. Thank you.

You could slow them down with the speed settings. 😂

Thanks Pat! Love this stitch. The weaving with the open design in the middle at the start of the video was so pretty!

Lovely and clear. Just don't quite understand why you start off with 3 knots...? Would it be the same 3 knots rule at the start of the weaving?

Thank you for the video. Do we finish with 3 knots as well?

thanks - a very clear tutorial. is it safe to cut the warp off at the knots without the weave loosing stability?
@weavewithpat2 жыл бұрын
Yes, it is!

Do u need to use a double over yarn
@weavewithpat4 жыл бұрын
Hi Nikita I usually use the same thickness of yarn I am using for most of the weaving. A single strand of yarn will work as long as it isn't too slippery.

Awesome video! Maybe a stupid question but once you’ve created that open design, are you able to cut the warp thread out of the middle area and tie them so it’s just a clean hole?
@weavewithpat6 жыл бұрын
Yes you can cut the warp thread. I would suggest cutting the thread in the middle of the open section so that you can thread the ends into the back of the weaving for a neater finish. Hope this helps. Pat
