The double effect bug seems like a difficult one to solve. In theory it's easy, but there's an order to everything and they'd basically need to adjust the execution order of effects to fix the bug, which likely causes more problems than it solves.

blizzard is just a small indie company. can't expect them to be able to solve problems with their beta stage game.

@@AuRelion77 This bug would require a change in the core game and the effect structure. The change is a lot more significant than what it seems like at first glance. I work with similar things, so I am unfortunately painfully aware of how obnoxious these things can be to change. Also, when there's not much money flowing in there's also little incentive for the company to fix it. This isn't a competence issue.

I don't think the bug mentioned is actually a bug. A triple only ever gives you the stats of two of them. It never gives you the stats of all three. When he triples the Prickly Piper in the video, it gives him the stats of the highest two, which is how it has always worked with triples. Think about it. When you triple three base Prickly Pipers, the golden one has stats of 10/2, not 15/3. Edit: Retracted. See comment from TheThewhatnow

I remebered a year ago, I buffed baron to 15/15 3 times and got 45/45, not 30/30, so it worked with buffs of all 3 cards.

Your example with double stats of a golden card is not quite relevent, because golden card is another card, with double effect and stats. But the stats come from buffs

It only gets the base stats of 2 minions, but it should keep any buffed stats from all 3

@@alche3887 You can look up a golden Prickly Piper on Google. It has stats of 10/2. The base Prickly Piper has stats of 5/1. So if you buy three Prickly Pipers, it triples into a minion with the stats of two of them. That's how triples work. If one or more of them had buffs, the golden one would have the stats of the highest two. This is absolutely relevant, because the "bug" he was talking about pertains to tripled, golden minions not getting the stats of all three, which they never have.

@@TheThewhatnow Oh I see, you're right. When he tripled the Charlga (without help from the quest), it got the stats from the two he had on board, plus the extra 2/2 from when he buffed the tavern twice with the tier 3 tavern spell. I will retract my original comment.
