Double Loop was an obscure Schwarzkopf Looping Coaster that operated at Kobe Portopialand in Japan until the park closed in 2006. As the name would imply, the coaster featured two back-to-back classic Schwarzkopf loops. However, the layout of this coaster was quite different in comparison to other Schwarzkopf looping coasters as it did not feature any steep diving drops, airtime hills, or tight turns that you find on the most popular Schwarzkopfs. Instead, the ride featured lots of wide flat turns and shallow drops much like you'd find on a lot of Japanese manufactured Jet Coasters.
Unlike the park's Zierer coaster, BMR-X which was relocated to Camelot Theme Park, Double Loop was not able to find a new home after the park closed and was scrapped. Currently, an IKEA occupies a portion of the land where this ride used to operate.
