Double Lutz jump comparison - Luca Lucaroni & Jayson Sutcliffe

As a young athlete I idolised world champions. As a coach I now look at them in awe. This is a rare opportunity where I got to skate alongside one of the best of all time Lucaroni Luca, and have created this video just to look at the variations of a 2 Lutz.

Keeping that outside edge all the way through the take off is very difficult on roller skates since you can't really do the flick off the gliding skate toe.

I saw both of them hit that inside edge before takeoff. Nicely rotated and landed though.

You did a lutz, luca did a flip... his change of edge was still on the floor... the inflection point must be on the air. You did it right. No cheating on the lutz please...
