Welcome back to another winter method feeder session ! Only a short one this week, squeezed in a morning’s method feeder session at harry's before cracking on with some jobs ! I wanted to see how it was fishing! The fish are certainly starting to wake up now with spring right around the corner.

Nice little session and video for a cold day. Crazy busy that fishery. £16 for 2 rods ouch! But it’s not putting the anglers off. I naturally only fish one rod anyway. I struggle watching one tip never mind two! Get yourself to Aldi for a veg net. You won’t find the zips break on them. 30p too. 😂😂😂 always have one in my bag, Though wash the net after use as it can get mouldy. Little atomiser to save some of that pellet flavour to wet the pellets if they need it during the session. I mostly prep my pellets over night. Fill a Tupperware container right to the top with pellets add in your water to the top, lid on and turn them a couple of times then stick’em in the fridge. Ready for the morning. Or straight in your fishing bag. I find they are perfect after an hour when you get to your peg. 👌. They need a little persuasion to get them out the pot 😂 Seen the main man Tommy ‘Don’t move the feeder’ Pickering do his micros in a plastic bag overnight in the fridge too. If it good enough for Tommy 😂👍

If highly recommend Sam hosticks fishery in woodmansey just outside of hull. Quality stamp of fish and the venue is very looked after

if your ever in north wales westy can recommend Eisteddfa fishery in Criccieth lovely fishery .great scenery double figure carp and an amazing breakfast to be had in the on site cafe plus only £8.50 for two rods .

Yo westly if you come down to Bolton near horwitch there a place called Bradshaw hall fisheries lake 3 and 6 are my favourite in spring it’s open from 7am-4pm

If you're coming over Yorkshire way in barnsley. There's athersley community lake, sally Walsh's dam, dearne valley park lake(Hoyle mill), tinkers pond, worsborough reservoir all about £5-6 a day ticket £10-12 for 2 rods.

@@WestysAngling no worries. Tinkers pond is one rod only as it's a smaller lake the rest are good for 2. The athersley lake is more of a carp lake. The rest are more mixed.

What’s the largest Carp You or Papa West have had out of Harry’s? If the price increases like that I would expect the fishery to be immaculate to the Standards of Partridge Fishery at Warrington. Its a pretty desolate wide open site with no hedges of trees for shelter against the elements , the lodge is a old element of Ellerbeck sand & coal mine, the fish for me need to be of a good stamp for those prices 25/30lb carp.

Only a 2lb test curve rod, just a specimen rod not full carp rods 🎣 there are some chunks in there 🐟
