The portal breaks jumping units. Because they have no path, they can't go through portals normally unless they land on them. When they do, to account for weird approach angles, the game just reflects the move from the starting point out the other portal, effectively giving them a free move. The catapult is an exception because it has two modes, jump and pathed. The path that goes through the portal normally can't pass through units. The jump move either skips the portal or lands on it, which makes it end up in one specific square, the same distance from the exit portal as its starting point is from the entry portal.

Stockfish isn't programmed to work with the weird ass moves of the new pieces... Like even without the otk stuff you'd have to teach it for quite a while and let it learn the new mechanics

If your microphone messes up mid-recording, you could always salvage it by doing a voice-over on top of the run afterwards. Better than completely scrapping the whole video, IMHO.
