Hi, I’m Krista! I make math courses to keep you from banging your head against the wall. ;)
Math class was always so frustrating for me. I’d go to a class, spend hours on homework, and three days later have an “Ah-ha!” moment about how the problems worked that could have slashed my homework time in half. I’d think, “WHY didn’t my teacher just tell me this in the first place?!”
So I started tutoring to keep other people out of the same aggravating, time-sucking cycle. Since then, I’ve recorded tons of videos and written out cheat-sheet style notes and formula sheets to help every math student-from basic middle school classes to advanced college calculus-figure out what’s going on, understand the important concepts, and pass their classes, once and for all. If you haven't already, I explain the process here: integralcalc . com/how-I-create-my-videos/ and during the video editing process with screenflow, you can replace the cursor with an image. :)

I know you use SketchBook for making these videos, but how do you change the cursor on the Mac to look like a piece of chalk? Thanks!

Why do u set, 3theta=pi/2 ?
@kristakingmath
@kristakingmath 8 жыл бұрын
Because 3theta is the argument inside the trig function, and you always want to take the argument and set it equal to pi/2. Doing so will always make it easier to find the values you need later.

+Krista King so i could set it equal to pi/4 hypothetically and it would work or would it be wrong?
@kristakingmath
@kristakingmath 8 жыл бұрын
No, you always want to set it equal to pi/2, not any other value.

@kristakingmath does it matter which trig ratio we are using, or we always set the angle to pi/2 irregardless
