Great location for Portable QRP ops. It has to be the dipole for the fantastic RSTs you all are receiving . My dipole outperforms my EFHW and day of the week.

@@twooldmeninthewoods Yes, one of my POTA friends KM4VKS uses a chair similiar to that. I haven't tried one with out the back yet, but maybe I will, it looks very small and light to backpack with. Most of my activiations have been a short walking distance from the car. However, this year I hope to start going deeper into the parks and hitting some trails with the IC-705 or the Yaesu FTX-1F when it comes out.

@@MatthewCrook I like POTA regardless, but I really enjoy trailside POTA activation! One of my goal's this year is a simultaneous POTA/SOTA activation.
