I cannot believe they patched it so quick. I understand double pump was OP back in the day but I feel like with the strength of some items such as the quad launcher, rocket launcher, deagle, heavy sniper, heavy Assault rifle, grappler and rift etc.. The double pump could really have a place in the game. Using up two inventory slots is pretty ballzy when you have so many strong items in the game. Back in the day smg was useless and explosives weren't so strong. We didn't have movement items such as redeploy, rifts and grapplers. I think giving us double pump could be really nice for the game.

Ok but that was just because they severely underestimated how good the mechs were (they made them op because of the fact you had no way to build etc) Double pump promotes an extremely static loadout of "ar,2 pumps" every single game since that meant you were going to win nearly all close-range endgame encounters as long as you have ammo.
