Two of the very best bands around currently, with plenty of differences in their approach to music, as would have to be with a 5 piece and a trio for starters. However besides all the players are beyond competent, the thing that separates them from the crowd is the songwriting. They both write incredible songs to their own styles. And they are both fantastic live of course. Band Maid will always be my first love but so happy to see so many other bands entering the fray.

Great video- I enjoyed this, as The Warning and Band Maid are my two favorites. The captions helped on the Band Maid video - was nice to understand the thoughts that go with the emotion of the song. Not distracting. They both crushed it. If it hasn't been said in the comments, yet, The Warning - three young sisters slaying a song originally performed by four grown-ass men. LOL

Ale singing lead is like spotting a unicorn. There’s several videos of her on lead, usually if Dany needs a break with her voice. Ale is more than capable but is extremely shy and introverted and is more comfortable singing harmonies. If she ever comes out of that shell…watch out!

Puzzle is a classic! The Maids do not ever disappoint, IMO. As for the Enter Sandman cover… what makes it great is they did their own different take on a classic, and nailed it. You can do a cover straight and, if it sounds great, that’s cool. To transform the original and come up with something as good, only different, is real musicianship.

Two very different styles of rock being represented by two excellent bands! Personally I find the style of The Warning more to my taste but I can appreciate the outstanding musicianship and skill of the Band-Maid ladies....

This performance of the song "Enter Sandman" by The Warning was special with the addition of a string ensemble, which is not how it’s usually performed live. Metallica asked The Warning to cover "Enter Sandman" in collaboration with Canadian pop singer Alessia Cara for "The Metallica Blacklist" album, released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of "The Black Album" in 2021. According to Lars Ulrich, they told all the bands involved, "Pick a song. Do what you want with it. If you want to play it backwards or turn it on its head, we respect and appreciate it." The Warning and Alessia composed and recorded their version in just 10 days. Producer Matt Squire flew to Monterrey to oversee the process, while Alessia recorded her parts remotely from Canada due to COVID restrictions. The band worked late into the night brainstorming ideas, reworking the melody, and removing the iconic riff to give the song their own twist. They emphasized the haunting "Hush Little Baby" section, with Alessia’s harmonies adding depth to the arrangement. The official music video features Alessia as a projection since she couldn’t travel, but her "whoa, whoa" vocals remain part of the backing track during live performances. The Warning’s history with "Enter Sandman" dates back to 2014, when Dany was 14, Pau was 12, and Ale was just 9. They recorded a straight cover and uploaded it to KZbin because the file was too big to email to their family. That video went viral and currently has over 26 million views. Metallica's guitarist Kirk Hammett even tweeted, "the drummer kicks maximum ass!" They performed their version of the song live with Alessia once as a special one-time event. Another great performance of their version, without the string section, was at Teatro Metropolitan in 2022.

The Warning did a quarentine concert during covid for their fans and Ale sings lead on Red Hands Never Fade, they broadcast the concert live from their basement for fans to make up for having to cancel their tour because of Covid, I think Ale was 15 at the time and as you can see her singing it starts at avout 26 miniutes 30 seconds in. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGjOmXiopKiIZsU

It would be interesting to see Metallica and TW doing a collab, but I think there's a better chance of seeing 10 foot deep snow on the sun, than seeing that. I think a lot more humility is required, than the older guys have.

Ale' is very shy to sing lead BUT has sung lead several times over the years. She has stepped in to cover for both girls on songs where there were issues. Bye the way- The Warning Enter Sandman- There are 4 versions…. In 2014 these 3 little girls from Mexico made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they have progress in their music skills. The video was too big to just email so their dad posted it on KZbin and sent the grandparents the link. It went viral and was seen by Metallica (they gave a shout-out saying “That drummer kicks maximum ass!”). It was also seen my Ellen DeGeneres (prompting her to get them on her show in 2015). It has since garnered well over 26 million views. This is the 2014 version of Enter Sandman: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5PShox4brF5gLs In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. It was recorded in an abandoned textile mill outside of Monterrey, Mexico. Here is the official music video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6WugpqbqKiWisU When The Warning sings this in live concerts this is the version they do with Alessia Cara’s background vocals: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rJicp4F7bMygZqs For The Warning’s 10th anniversary concert they created this extra special version of Enter Sandman: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6TXoKSsarxriK8
