Does this print/ink withstand outdoor elements? If not, is there an application to protect the print from rain/snow/cold? I am thinking about buying a large format printer.

It’s depends on the printer. What kind are you looking into? Typically most wideformat printers will have ink that can withstand the elements for a few years, some less and some more. I work with a hot solvent printer so the inks hold up nicely for good 5 + years without fading.

@@blackcapdesign an Epson stylus pro 9500 capacity 44 inch wide. A printing company is liquidating some old stuff before an upgrade so I was trying to figure out if the printer would produce commercial quality print before acquiring it.

Recognize Game what type of products do you intend to produce? Just looking at the printers specs and information on the ink.
