I just came across this channel, and I'm loving it! Lara, I'm super sensitive as well. I never saw it as a good thing, because, like you, I was often told to "dry it up"........ Thank you, for helping me to see being sensitive as a wonderful asset, not something to be ridiculed. I love ALL of the actors on The Chosen, and I CRY many times, with each episode!!!

I love Lara so.much. I feel like my 1st grandchild will look like her when she grows up and I pray that she continues to have the same heart that she does now. She's even similar in that sence. Beautiful inside and out. Thanks for the work that you both do. You are so talented and you are doing God's work. God bless you both.

Thank you both for your authenticity. Thank you, Jordan, for hosting a podcast that reminds this Recovering Perfectionist that being real is better than looking perfect. Lara, I'm somewhat different from you, though sensitive as well, and it sounds like our growing up experiences were different, but gosh, I wish we could be friends! You seem like such a lovely lady 🙂. God bless you both.

You were both wonderfully transparent about your life experiences and physical problems. God bless you both in many ways. My prayers are with you in your personal lives and as a part of your work on The Chosen, which I thoroughly enjoy!

I remember being 19 on my first modeling job. I had to wear a bathing suit along with 20 other young girls and some of us had to serve horderves etc. to wealthy investors for I think a luxury condo company. I don't remember, but It was the most uncomfortable thing having men in their 40s and 50s at that time flirting with you even when you remained professional and didn't flirt back. I decided never to take a job like that again . Unfortunately you get weirdos even when you're covered from head to toe.😐 I don't know, I'd expect that from a boy my age at the time...not my dad's. Anyways, you guys are awesome!

Your comments apply to everyone. We all feel the need for acceptance and it’s painful to live “outside” others. That is why we need Jesus who loves us unconditionally.

Sorry, guys, but I have heard a few discussions about the length of Shahar's tunic. (Not that that makes it okay to get all judgy about the ladies' attire when they go out to tea.) Also, men who "lust" will do so no matter what you wear.

You are so right Lara. You are not responsible for causing men to lust. Truth! Just like Shahar isn't responsible for women walking around with their right eye 👁🗨 gouged out! Not your fault not his fault .😊🤭 Now THAT was some funny sh#t 💩😄 right there! Lol

Our society is so sick, on social media, no matter how I change my profile name and profile pick, pervs will always send me vulgar messages! How do you deal with this being famous?

My limp: having a sad looking face and ending up the whipping boy or the bully magnet in pretty much EVERY JOB I’VE EVER HAD (well except one in a war zone-Afghanistan) My hold on this world is so weak now … I mean really really…nothing 😞 I hate & utterly loathe being on this stinking piece of rock 🌎 in the back boonies of the universe….I just want to go Home to Jesus. There’s absolutely nothing here I want personally or care for. If it wasn’t for my kids I’d have offed myself years ago. They’re all grown up and don’t bother much with their mother so..🤷🏼♀️ Stage 4Terminal pancreatic cancer would be a celebration party for me.

Are you getting any counseling? Or being medically treated for severe depression? I'm not judging seriously. I hope that you will. Cuz I've totally been there. And I don't really want to leave this world just yet. Pray because God listens

@@marygibbon6989 yes, I’m seeing a doctor & have meds for anxiety/panic disorder & strong antidepressants. I’m working through compound PTSD. I have my EAP extended, so I get to talk to a counsellor. But I can’t change people. There will always be evil everywhere. I need to find a job that suits me & respects boundaries. My whole life I’ve never had that- working with hateful vindictive belligerent women has been corrosive & permanently damaging.
