Draglines and yarderlines are my favorite equipment. I'm fascinated how these folks operating dragline can load haultruck with them

Seilbagger sind einfach schöne, interessante und wuchtige Maschinen, genau wie diese Schürfkübel hier. Mir gefällt auch immer diese traditionelle und klssische Form dieser gelochten Hendrix-Schleppschaufel sehr. Schon als Kind habe ich solche Bagger für mein Leben gerne gesehen.

Dragline vs hydraulic longreach ? which is better and why ?

Dragline looks like a tough machine to operate, especially under water. I have run hydraulic excavators, but digging and feeling how much to raise the winch would be tough.

Wouldn't it be better if there tracks were facing the edge and not parallel to the edge. I'm not an expert just wondering

Yes it would be alot better...if you upset the dragline it's ALOT easier to pull back onto the landing with a dozer if need be....if these guys have a washout there skrewed!!

@@panzerdozer… AGREED, BUT THATS WHY I ALWAYS SET UP ON THE DIAGONAL, EASIER TO MOVE ALONG THE BANK WITHOUT TEARING UP THE GROUND TOO MUCH. ALSO THERES NO NEED TO DIG OUT UNDER UR TOES. ONCE YOU DRAG IN THE OUTER REACHES, JUST MOVE BACK A LITTLE. 🖖

Die Ketten sollten immer mit den Durassen zum Wasser stehen, im Falle des Abrebrechends der Kante kann der Bagger noch rückwärts mit Druck weg von der Kante

Zum Glück schafft es die Firma Gran schon seit vielen Jahren auch ganz ohne die KZbin Kommentare von denjenigen die es immer besser wissen erfolgreich mit Ihrer Arbeit zu sein. Bei dieser Restauskiesung war zuvor eine Eimerleiter (Eimerkettenbagger) im Einsatz, weshalb es hier sehr flach ins Wasser gegangen ist und keine Gefahr bestand seitlich zum Wasser zu stehen...
