Nipsy taught me how to Double Up. Been pursuing my goals and ambitions, doubling up my image, my finances, my freedom and most importantly the time i spend with my family, my friends, my community. What Nipsy taught me was to enjoy your life the way you want it. Do the things you are most passionate about. Be the person you invision. And to always remember you are worth more then what the people tell you, follow your dreams. RIP Nipsey Hustle

We should all look back at this. It might just be a comment section, but look at this conversation... talking about failing and succeeding and the inspiration from Nipseys music. This is what music should do to people. Create, Motivate, Strive, Struggle, and then Succeed. We should all look back at this. I'm serious. This is greatness, and I wish anyone anywhere in the world to breath through this music and find that spark to hustle and chase goals. Bless all of the people who have made it and the ones who are still fighting through constant struggle and obstacles!
@rochelleholmes95826 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with you. We as a black community should support our people. Not by buying their music or nothing like that, but don't let the artists down who are supplying us with motivation, strive, and epescially when they really understand and done really been through the struggle. HOW COULD YOU NOT LISTEN TO NIPSEY! No doubt this is a classic. One Love

The ones who feared both these men the most though, was our own government! Too much of an influence or threat to "their" grind and your assassinated..look what happened to our own president JFK!! he was gunned down on national tv...Once the smoke and mirrors clear, you start to see the truth. These two saw the truth, asked too many questions, were about to open up about it, then Baaam!!! dead the next day...Always ask questions..the rabbit hole is never ending. #RRR #StayReallyWoke

I use this music for inspiration before I conduct my meetings with my 30+ employees. Gets me on the right state of mind. I'm a 2× failed business owner and still on a mission. Word. I know exactly where you was at, and that store 8th Ave Liquor is where they filmed Boyz N Da Hood. I'm from the LBC but I moved to the district when I was about 16 or so. Stayed off of 54th & 4th ave about two blocks from Crenshaw High. Technically that's VNG hood but the 60s didn't give a fuck, they was too wild. Brynhurst, Victoria, 63rd, McFadden, Rimpau, 59th, Florence to Slauson as well as the Dorset Villages etc all them streets get live. Much love to you though homie and I wish you well on your business endeavors bro.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect that, but some opinions should be kept to yourself. In return we all go through different things in life and choose who we look up to, in my scenario it was nipsey hussle. I recongized everything he stood for and I was motivated to strive towards similar goals as he did, not necessarily becoming a rapper but becoming someone self built and respected. I was not comparing him to God, so for you to tell me to just be a fan because he was a great rapper sounds to me like a ignorant comment. You do not know what I went through. So do me a favor and don't go around putting your word in situations that don't involve you personally... just saying

For a week? Okay calm down people are dying everyday should we cry everyday? Ah let me guess, because he was famous he matters more than everyone else dying? Or you just writing BS for likes probably well well nvm
@shawnm.martin57214 жыл бұрын
@@MuddaEE I don't give a damn about no likes. I cried because he was a beautiful black man doing positive things in his community and making a real difference. I cried because there are people out here that don't give a damn about anyone but themselves and they live their selfish, self centered lives forever and here is someone who gave selflessly even making sure that his shoe deal with Puma benefitted his community, yet he's gone. I cried for Lauren because as a woman I know how it feels to lose the love of your life. The void and the loneliness and the fear that you'll never feel like that again. So like I said I cried for motherfuckin weeks and if I think about it too hard I'll probably cry today. Not really sure what about my comment bothered you or if you just one of them hateful motherfuckers that don't feel for nobody but themselves but you have me all the way fucked up.
@MuddaEE4 жыл бұрын
@@shawnm.martin5721 What bothered me is exactly what i said. People die everyday, but he was more important because he was famous right? Tf outta here with that bullshit. I liked his music and i respected what he was trying to accomplish, but im not about to shed one damn tear. You know what country i come frm? You know the stuff i have seen there? THAT would make someone cry for a lifetime. But your life is so hard you cry for someone because they were famous. Maybe you just weak, if you take his death as such a tragedy, i could tell you some stories that would make his death seem like a drop of water in the rain. No disrespect. Yea your comment bothered me. Oh so very deeply. Trust that.
@shawnm.martin57214 жыл бұрын
@@MuddaEE I don't know where you come from and yes I had a hard life coming up but it's great now. You are correct I am a very soft hearted person and yes I probably would cry if you told me some of those stories. That's just me. I cry when I hear or see good things happening or people doing great deeds and I cry when I see or hear fucked up things happening. That's just the way my heart is set up. Yes people die every day and if I knew about all of it depending on who they were or what they represented I might cry or I might tap dance. I was just speaking my heart and my truth. That doesn't make me weak. I just have a good ass heart.. A soft hearted thug.... Go figure.. Likes ain't have shit to do with it tho. Him being famous had nothing to do with it. It's who he was as a man. The loss this world suffered of someone trying to make a difference and do something great. The loss of the obvious love he had for his woman, children, and family. Yep I cried for weeks not a week, weeks over it. 🤷🏾♀️

So sad that in an instant any one of us could be taken out of this life. I need to stay in gratitude, thanks and forgiveness in everything I do in my life so if I too am taken away from this life I will not have regrets of not showing my real heart to all people.
