Bro, I've been trying out rhythm shooting and I think Tempo is basically how well you can time the release, not how fast or slow you go from down to up. It basically says "Slightly Slow" if you were late and "Slightly Fast" if you were too early.

for people with push timing like me i found that u move the stick from a to b when your character reaches their apex, like set point timing, then u let go of your stick with your push timing like u normally would, was the way to think about it when it came to figuring out tempo. U could prob do something similar with release but im not sure about jump and set point

I have found that with a 5’9 to 6’4 to put the visual cue in the jump shot creator in the middle of push and release because the jump shot is a little faster and I find it easier to time it’s just a little after the push it’s easy to time

FYI the streetball courts are NOT on rookie settings, they are “supposed” to be but there’s a HUGE difference in difficulty between an nba game on rookie and streetball and you can really jack up your hotspots if you’re out there bricking

Tempo is incorporated in the shooting this year even shooting with x. Rythem shooting can't be toggled on or off so even with x its there. How much pressure u use to push the button this year ties into tempo of your shot. Light for fast jumpers more pressure for slower jumpers. Release point is the same but tempo changes to combat zens. Try it

Pull the stick back as soon as you get the ball. If you end up pulling back even a millisecond before receiving the ball it will be delayed.

You can't get lethals in my career or anywhere else but lethal shooter. Every zone that's been upgraded through lethal shooting can then be pushed to purple at any time through any game mode. But you can't just play my career and get lethals without doing the challenge

For me 2k25 shooting is way easier i use to play 2k24 with no lan cable so i was basically shooting 25% becoz of latency and delay but now i gotta lan cable on 2k25 and im shooting 56% from 3

so you have to make sure you've already started your jumpshot animation and then push up on the stick. i was making the same mistake as you because i wasnt triggering the jumpshot edit: and you'll know if it's a rhythm shot because it only gives the tempo feedback for that type of shot afaik (correct me if i'm wrong as i'm still learning)

Rhythm shooting would make sense if for example they are forcing us to miss with this rng bs after four shots ,so it would make sense that after four button shots not sure if it’s per game or per quarter but start doing rhythm after your button shots to continue an reset the rng failed miss program. Like have a ratio if you break through the ratio then you can green more that would make sense to use but just using a harder mechanic that doesn’t effect the rng system is a waste
