I’ve thought about that too - in this case he would have died either way as he was at 12HP and three more mage bolts were coming. But I think even if it would save him spending both sums might not be worth since he needed to base anyways and there’s nothing more to gain besides 2 casters?

It's crazy that even with the over tuned tank items this season, Lethality is still the most OP build in the game. They need to do something about giving Lethality diminishing returns or limiting lethality items or something. No reason why Lethality should deal so much damage to even tanky champions with lots of armor.
