Ever since I've started watching the co streams, it seems like the casters just are missing so much game knowledge that you get from liftlift. Its refreshing and much more rewarding cause you actually learn things.. I've learnt about Cheater recalls that have helped my counter lame matchups a lot!

Flowers and Azael are good players but they aren't as good as Liftlift, so it's harder for them to see the things he sees at a glance.

Teams do lane swap, but it just isnt worth it to do it right at the beginning of lane phase due to the reduced tower dmg on top turret. That means that the team to swap the bot/supp top cant push as quickly as their counterparts. Even in this game, FLY swaps with licorice part way through to protect his lane and push their ADC advantage. But it is only after the reduced tower dmg has fallen off.

I'm convinced that sylas past 30 min can 1v5 any team ever. 70% hp heal on a 4 sec cd can't be balanced. Plus he can use an enemy ult every 25 sec or so. What do you do against that?

Yeah, maybe if you go in one at a time. Sylas is an assassin at the end of the day. He has barely any ranged aoe (unless he steals a great ult). He needs to kill a high priority target (as Palafox does to win the game). Notice how in each of doublelift's reactions to Palafaker, the champion pick never comes up. It's because Palafox simply outplayed his opponent with better fundamentals (dodging skillshots, positioning, baiting cooldowns) and not because his champion is mega OP.

He could do that with any assassin because the most impactful things were dodging poe’s q which he could do with leblanc, baiting allllll those cooldowns which was from zhonyas and his positioning was sick. I’m not disagreeing that sylas is great (he’s my fav to play lol) but I think that was all palafaker outplaying tsm instead of sylas just being a better champ than syndra. Putrifier giving everyone grievous wounds shuts him down his ability to heal tank and 1v9 unless he gets a great engage

His win rate vs maokai when maokai was at his peak in pro play was 45% because thornmail and sunfire scaled WELL ENOUGH that unless the game got to over an hour and nasus could afford a last wisper mao would just ignore him. Then mao just point and clicks the enemy team and auto wins teamfigjt with old ult. Its like how fiora should outscale camile but camile just hard forces skimishes/teamfights and fiora cant. Just because in a 1v1 you should outscale does not transition to you outscaling in pro play. Or jax would be pick/ban.

Tsm playing poorly=/= flyquest playing like gods. The early feed by POE to palofox gave them whatever they need to enable the trist hyper carry in the mid/late game. How many summoners and resource were used in so many scenarios to try to take down palofox only for him to escape time and time again. Plus lost wasn’t on form, they pick kaisa rakan for that backline pickoff assassination but he never did it. Might as well played jhin if that’s the case
