I remember watching the Rifleman show during 2019 when my remaining grandfather was still alive. My mom and I lived with him while we looked after him and this show would come on. Westerns were all we watched most of the time. My last grandparent died in 2021.

I can’t believe I’m going to say this but I watch the INSPIRATION channel all day for The Rifleman, The Virginian, Big Valley Gunsmoke etc etc. They were on in my house as a kid and watching Cheyenne or Matt Dillon kick ass is something I enjoy today

Yeh think i remember watching this show at my grandparents, the opening intro would show that main guy but from the waist slowly walking and then he's shoot that repeater fast like flicking it, then the camera would pan up to show his face, and the voice would say "The Rifleman!" Yeh that's how it would start.

I like the Rifleman, but these guys aren't wrong - there are some bizarre episodes and scenes in the show that get even weirder when taken out of context. Or have no context, as in this case.

In the Rifleman episode "the Wyoming story part 2" at the end when Lucas finally returns, when Mark and Lucas reunite .... as a kid, to me it looked like they were making out, I was very confused.🤣

I really hope they do not reboot the show I do not want Bonanza gun smoke and the rest of these old westerns to be rebooted. Especially with the current political climate I'm telling if these if these people on Twitter went back and watched The rifleman and watch back Bonanza and all those other shows they. Would push Hollywood to remake them and they would be terrible they will be woke.
