It could be that her english isn't that great and that made her freeze up. I have experienced that myself and it is not fun at all. English is not my first language and I was once in a skype call where i needed to speak to several people. Sufficient to say i was quite nervous, but I had an entire speech prepared in my head but i got interrupted and was asked jump forward in my speech. This completely took me out so much that at not only didn't know what to say, but at that moment i completely forgot to even speak English.
