J.Lo made this entirely because she really needed the money, and 2013’s _Parker_ didn’t exactly make waves at the box office. (And she’s genuinely very good in that film…but the script doesn’t integrate its two protagonists’ plots well, so it plays like a two-part miniseries that’s been merged into a Film Product).

In the original review Korey mentions that they didn't want to make Jennifer's character a villain but an innocent woman because they didn't want to tarnish Jennifer's image um, Nicole Kidman played a woman who seduced a minor in To Die For & her image is still going strong. Oddly Enough, the bully in the film was on Disney Channel or more accurately Disney XD. His name is Adam Hicks & he was on a show called Zeke & Luther and was on later seasons of another Disney show called Pair of Kings. In 2018, he was arrested alongside his girlfriend at the time for armed robbery. In 2021 he was found guilty and was sentenced to 5 years in state prison but was let out in 2022 on parole after the judge credited his 1460 days he served while awaiting sentencing. And last year he had become an advocate for men’s mental health & substance abuse recovery. And he has apologized for his past mistakes. My goodness!

Two funny things about this movie. 1) A "first edition" of the Iliad? Lulz. 2) The screenwriter was inspired to write the script based on a "bad boy" who lived in her neighborhood. The real life boy was twelve years old.

Solid review in general, but a great review to add for October. When it comes to further wtf semi-popular horror movies to review in October, no idea really. However, I'm looking forward to the upcoming reviews.

Nah man, if you've got a crowbar and the killer is on the ground you don't need to kill him. Why risk a murder charge yourself? No you go to town on his knees and elbows. You turn them into mush. He won't ba a danger to anybody.
