Pogo you may never read this comment, but I have enjoyed your content for the past 10 years now, and your videos just give me this nostalgic-feeling that I just can't put my finger on. No other artist does this for me. The work you put out is always on point and such high quality; and that's what an actual artist should do. Listening to these makes my anxiety and stress just fold and I'm really not a crying-type person, but it just makes all my emotions into a ball and just let's go. Now I'm not too fairly sure that you take any requests, but if one of my favorite cartoon films was made into a remix like this, it would literally make my year. Aristocats. Another banger in the books! If you happen to see this, can I ask what kind of effects/processing you use on vocals to get them to sound so good with your songs? @PogoMusic4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Chris. I do use Melodyne, but I try to preserve as many imperfections as possible. I treat individual syllables with Audition using Fabfilter Pro-Q, because film dialogue is usually recorded with lapel mics or overhead cardioid mics which make voices sound nasal, throaty and boomy. I then compress the volume of the vocal track and apply just a little bit nicotine -- sorry, couldn't help myself -- just a little bit of stereo delay and reverb using VintageVerb. That's pretty much it.

I really loved this “Mrs. Doubtfire” song you did Pogo 💜 It was so fun/groovy! 👌🏻 It literally made me smile and cry throughout the whole video aswell as brought back to many nostalgic memories because it was so touching to me 😭 Robin Williams is my #2 favourite actor of all-time 💜 He affected me in so many way. I wish he is still alive 💔 I still miss him every single day. But he left us alot of movies/telly-shows/more things for us to cherish forever to eternity which is amazing 😊 The movie “Mrs. Doubtfire” is one of my favourite films from the phenomenal/legendary/superb/KING OF VOICES (Comedy Robin Williams 🤩 I’m super duper grateful he existed on this planet Earth. If he didn’t exist... Idk where me life would be and the world would’ve been a much sadder place. THANK YOU SO SO SO VERY MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO! YOU MADE MY DAY Nick! 😍 The whole video and the electronic instruments/music you included reminded me of the 1990’s... That was a perfect touch! Your music creations are ALWAYS a masterpiece and it’s magical EVERY SINGLE TIME when I listen to them 😁

This is the first thing I've watched in months as far Robin Williams content goes because I get so sad that he's gone and how he did it. But Pogo songs always makes me happy so this is a good tribute so thank you.

A couple months ago I discovered this song on Spotify. Instant favorite and had it on repeat for several days. Fast forward to yesterday. I watched Mrs. Doubtfire out of nostalgia and the scene when Robin Williams character says “cream on your sugar now” to the court liaison just clicked on my memory. I had to rewind that line like five times cause I was sure I’ve heard that before. I went to spotify to my saved songs and there it was: Doubtfire. I didn’t even remembered that was it’s name. I felt like I’ve just discovered a major treasure. Thanks for this jewel Pogo ❤

This is a complete masterpiece. If Robin Williams was a sound or a beat, a genre, you captured it. I just wish he could have seen/heard this.

A fitting way to pay tribute to a man I grew up with. I remember seeing him for the first time in the movie "Jack." In between "What Dreams May Come" and "Mrs. Doubtfire," I can't remember having a favorite film with him in it. Thank you, Pogo. Robin was a giant among men, and I'll sure as hell miss him.

Whenever I watch this I have this overwhelming desire to watch Mrs. Doubtfire again. I've followed Robin Williams since I was 5 years old. I remember I could hardly say his name so I just called him "That guy from Flubber". This is literally just hilarious but it's a beautiful tribute to the man. Thanks for being so awesome!
