1.Doubtful debt is not a bad debt to reduce the amount from sundry debtors 2. two ways of reducing the asset balance a) by directly reducing the amount from asset ( Bad Debts write off) b) by creating the liability to counter the Asset ( Provision for Doubtful Debts)
