Hey, thanks so much, Dan! It's a bit of a different type of song from my usual fare, and I am really happy you like it!

Sounds good Seth! "The dungeon of despair knows no song." Glad to hear this old song of yours sounded modern and fresh to you and you heard it like you haven't before. That's always cool. Thumbs up ✨11✨

Glad you liked that one, Jared, and it means a lot to me that you read my explanation carefully too. Thanks! Keep on!

Reminds me of how much has passed, what's been lost, what might yet be retained. (also been decades since I read PP - perhaps time to revisit)

I re-read PP maybe two years ago, and found it to speak to me in very different ways and on very different levels than it did in my younger days. Yes, there is a fair bit for me that I didn't like and wouldn't endorse by any means, but as a story that rings true on many levels with the highs and lows of my own spiritual journey--it resonated and even deeply challenged and encouraged me in places--and Bunyan--if he were around today--would likely not consider me a fellow pilgrim, at least theologically. No matter. The work did its work.
