This is such a straight forward explanation of how to set it up. Very well spoken and easy to understand. Thanks for talking to us with respect and simplicity instead of too much techno-babble and "you're a dummy" for not knowing this. I've been deciding between using streamdeck and obs vs a Video switcher like atem mini or rgblink...all the info and opinions out there make it near impossible to decide. What's your take on the comparison of set ups?

Is there the possibility to switch between cams (scenes) with only one button? For example to do it with the elgato pedal.. ?

My main Q is: How do you get multiple cameras into OBS, what hardware are you using that takes 2x HDMI inputs, or do you simply have 2x Cam Link into your laptop?

Great simple vid. I had my both my cams set up within the sources in OBS so the stream deck wasn't switching between the cams. it was just turning them on and off so I couldn't just alternate pressing the buttons. Only way to get it to work like you say is to set the cams up as different scenes

If you are using multiple cams in the same scene, I overlay them on top of each other. When you use a multi action switch to turn them off or on to replicate a switcher, there is a delay between them turning off and on. So to work around this, I used the multi action switch to just turn one off or on. So when it's active, it is on top of the other one, so it replicates the switcher.

Can u make OBs go into preview instead of a hard cut. If u open the multicam windows you can see all your cams, i would like to hit a button and it will take the cam to preview then hit again to take it live..

Cool . So I need to connect my 2 cameras with 2 video capture? And then make 2 scenes? Or how I connect my 2 cameras?

Awesome!! I have a question. Hope you can help me out. If I am recording the audio separately do I still need the hdmi adapters?

Was getting ready to buy atem mini pro but saw your video on elgato stream deck and this looks so easy the way you went through the tutorial...I use OBS for my streaming and was wondering what hardware you recommend to connect my canon xa35 to connect wireless to this device? I ask because the camera will be set about 100 feet away from me in a high traffic area, so I can't use wires to connect the camera to my laptop/stream deck. Thanks in advance.
