Dear Sir, Refer to TN MQ prospectus, page 14, point 11 11. The apportionment of seats shared between Government and Management in unaided Self- Financing Medical Colleges and Dental Colleges in Non-Minority Institution is 65:35 and between Government and Minority seats in unaided Self Financing Medical / Dental Colleges in Minority Institution is 50:50. My understanding is Colleges like PSG and KMCH can issue 65 percent government quota seats be interpreted as 35 percent MQ reserved seats? ex total seat 250, nearly GQ 162 seat, 88 as MQ, how to calculate NRI numbers? Similarly, in minority colleges like SRM Trichi, Velammal and Panimalar, 50 percent seats can be understood as minority 50 percent GQ? how to calculate general management and NRI numbers? Possible pls share in (Q&A Neenga ketavai) the TN SF first 10 best colleges GQ, MQ and NRI seat matrix. Sorry to ask such a question. I believe only experienced domain expert like you can give correct answer. Thanks

Sir if we get a seat in a deemed University in aiq round 1 and want to participate in self finance colleges R1, and if we get a seat in R1 in SF thn as per free exit in aiq R1 we cn leave tht deemed University seat and take SF seat.. suppose if i get a seat only in SF R2 will tht deemed University seat frm AIQ R1 will be available fr me or it will be lost? pls advise if this can be done or wht is to be done? My preference is SF TN colleges.. but to be on the safer side i want to block a seat in AIQ R1 DEEMED seat ..

sir, this is an urgent query. im a general category tamil christian. so in the end for uploading documents they asked for religious minority certificate from the annexure of the prospectus. when i went to yo the tahsildar, they denied to sign and stamp the certificate since i dont have a community certificate as i come under general category. called the tamilnadu selection committee and they asked me to submit nativity certificate and mention oc-christian. what do i do sir? they werent able to clarify clearly where to mention oc-christian.

In the application, you can select Open Category and under religion you can select Christian. But, once you select Christian, the religious minority certificate will become mandatory. Can you obtain a Christian minority certificate from the school? Will they issue? If they can issue, get and upload it. I am not sure whether you will be considered for Christian minority reservation. But, please try.

Sri Ramachandra and many other deemed universities say that the full tuition fees amount for 5.5 years must be paid at the time of joining the MBBS course. Is this true? We would appreciate your assistance in highlighting TN and Karnataka deemed universities that are considered to collect upfront bulk tuition fees. 2. While studying at GQ, MQ, Private, and Deemed Universities, do students have to pay tuition fees for either 4.5 years or 5.5 years? For example a student has to pay 4.5 lakhs per year as tuition fee for PSG GQ. Should this amount be paid for 4.5 or 5.5 years? Does the tuition fee period differ from college to college as well as demeed universities? Thank you

1. Not true. SRMC collects NRI fees in three instalments (of course first instalment is heavy), while general category fees is collected yearly. 2. Most of the colleges in TN collect fees in 5 instalments. Very few colleges collect fees in 4.5 instalments. Yes, 4.5 or 5 depends on the college. It is better to calculate 5 times the annual fees for your budget. Don't get into too much detailing, as these things can change any time.
