In this video, Doug Aldrich performs one of his favourite riffs from Black Sabbath's Dio era, the riff from the song "Voodoo." Doug also shares the background story of how he came to play the song with Dio.

Doug is awesome in whatever band he's played in. His playing in Whitesnake was epic. The Dio era of Black Sabbath had some great riffs too.

Must be a endorsement thing, either he has one with another company or Gibson refused to compensate him (and his agent who was probably the brains behind it) for using/promoting their gear.

Sounds right (the right notes), I am sure you know Tony likes to play at the 12th fret when everyone else would play at the 7th (or here at the 10th when everyone else would be at the 5th or on the open D(b)). The open Db to the fretted Gb says this one was written at the 5th fret.

@JustMe-mn5hk I'm thinking it's his Gibson man... im pretty darn sure. Because I've watched enough of Aldrich so much to know what is what out of his guitar's Dougs my idol I love that dude. I watch videos of him all the time, lol, so i mean, just look at that headstock! it's the exact same as Gibson. The open book and Harley Benton doesn't do the Gibson headstock exactly to be honest. so I'm gonna stick with it's a Gibby 👍👍 it's not that big of a deal no matter what brand it is like it's nothing to try and argue over haha. 😅 everyone has there own right to there own opinions. 🤘🤘🤘👊👊👊

Blurring the Gibson logo is a poor move. Even if it was Gibson who asked for it, then you should not have uploaded it. Silly.

Why would Gibson not want free advertising? More likely someone at TC doesn't have a backbone and sadly thinks it's bad to show any other logo than TC.... Kinda pathetic given TC in no way competes with Gibson.

Doug’s a monster talent … but this really doesn’t sound like the Sabbath recording. It’s not nuanced like that. It’s Iommi we’re talking about. See how he plays it on the H+H DVD that came out in 2008. It doesn’t sound like this.
